Asian Television Awards 9th Dec 2011
We hauled a couple of wins at the Asian Television Awards held in Singapore on Thursday, 8 December.
Our President, Michael McKay, won in the 'Best Direction' category, for The Amazing Race Australia Season 1. The series also won 'Best Adaptation of an Existing Format'.
Much congratulations to Michael and to the team involved in the series for the hard work well paid off. Onwards to producing more award winning work!
Cash Cab Asia 3rd Nov 2011
activeTV Asia's latest production, Cash Cab Asia, has hit television screens in the region. Driven by Oli Pettigrew, this game show takes place in a cab, and unsuspecting passengers are driven to their destination while being quizzed along the way.
If the passengers get all the questions right when they have arrived, they will win the prize money. If they get three questions wrong, they get booted out of the cab. If stumped, passengers can ask for help from pedestrians off the street via a Street Shoutout, or they can call a friend via a Mobile Shoutout.
