Sound Relief

SOUND RELIEF - On Saturday 14 March 2009, the SOUND RELIEF concerts were held simultaneously at the MCG in Melbourne and the SCG in Sydney.  The concerts were put together in 13 days following the devastating bush fires in Victoria and the floods in Queensland.  Some of the biggest names in the Australian music industry, as well as overseas artists, generously gave their time to raise money for the victims.  The final result was over $8 million raised, which went to the Red Cross.

We project managed the entire post production for the Mushroom Group.   With over 20 hours of footage, this amazing concert has now been immortalized into nine hours, featuring every band that took part in the biggest concert in Australian music history.

This four disc set DVD, released through Liberation Music on 9 October 2009, is a must for all Australian music fans.  All profits from the sale of the DVD will go to the Disaster Preparedness projects which develop programs and resources to better prepare communities for disasters such as bushfires and floods.   For more information; www.redcross.org.au
