ActiveTV wins the race again!

Singapore/Melbourne based Production company took home the Asia TV Award for Best Adaptation of an International Format at the Awards ceremony held in Singapore on Thursday.

The award went to The Amazing Race Asia Series 3 produced for Sony Pictures Television's AXN Networks.

This is the second year running that the leading indie has won the prestigious award for The Amazing Race Asia series.

"We are thrilled to win this award particularly as we were up against excellent competition across the region. The bar is constantly being raised in Asia so we consider winning back to back awards a great achievement" said activeTV President and series Executive Producer Michael McKay.

This comes hot on the heels of the prodco announcing a deal with Comcast International to produce E! News Asia in 2010.

In Australia the producer is celebrating the launch of their Prank Patrol kids series which debuted as the first show to screen on the ABC3 kids digital channel on Friday night.

The Amazing Race Asia series 3 premiered on AXN across Asia and attracted record ratings for the series. It was also nominated for an International Emmy.
