Country Music Awards
activeTV, in conjunction with Aztech Events, produces the Australian Country Music Awards on behalf of The Country Music Association of Australia. The Awards are country music’s night of nights and we are proud to be associated with this prestigious event.
The Awards have been running for 35 years and are the culmination of the world famous Tamworth Music Festival, held in January each year at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre.
The 2008 Country Music Awards saw a new set, new videographics and a brand new look for the awards, which were broadcast on Network Ten and Southern Cross Ten. The who’s who of the country music industry walked the red carpet, alongside special guest Guy Sebastian.
Lee Kernaghan took home four awards, including Male Artist and Album of the Year, and Beccy Cole walked away with three, Female Artist and Single of the Year.
We are responsible for staging and producing the entire event, including the red carpet arrivals.
The 2009 Country Music Awards will take place on Saturday 25 January.
