Country Music Awards
activeTV, in conjunction with Aztech Events, produces the Australian Country Music Awards on behalf of The Country Music Association of Australia. The Awards are country music’s night of nights and activeTV is proud to be associated with this prestigious event.
The Awards have been running for 37 years and are the culmination of the world famous Tamworth Music Festival, held in January each year at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre.
The 2009 Country Music Awards saw a new set, new videographics and a brand new look for the awards, which were broadcast on Network Ten and Southern Cross Ten.
Big winners on the night were husband and wife duo, Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson, taking home a total of 5 "Golden Guitar" trophies for their No. 1 Album Rattlin' Bones.
activeTV is responsible for staging and producing the entire event, including the red carpet arrivals.
The 2010 Country Music Awards will take place January 2010.
