Country Music Awards
activeTV, in conjunction with Fourth Wall Events, produces the Australian Country Music Awards on behalf of The Country Music Association of Australia. The Awards are country music’s night of nights and activeTV is proud to be associated with this prestigious event.
The Awards have been running for 39 years and are the culmination of the world famous Tamworth Music Festival, held in January each year at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre.
The 2010 Country Music Awards, hosted by Beccy Cole and Ray Hadley, was broadcast on Network Ten and the Country Music Channel.
Big winners on the night were Kasey Chambers, who took home four Golden Guitars, including Single of the Year and Female Artist of the Year. Graeme Connors won Male Artist and Album of the Year, and The McClymonts, Group or Duo of the Year.
