Amanda Peppard

Sponsorship and Promotions Manager

Amanda began her entertainment career in the music industry as personal assistant to international pop stars, Kylie and Dannii Minogue which saw her travel across the globe facilitating their media interviews, merchandising, concerts and TV performances. From this experience Amanda developed an interest in television and she returned to Melbourne to pursue a career in this exciting area.

Her television career began working alongside BAFTA award winning Producer, Jonathan M. Shiff, one of the world’s leading Producers of children’s drama. From there she moved to Assistant Producer and then Producer of 2 Telemovies for The Disney Channel – WICKED SCIENCE and SCOOTER - SECRET AGENT.

Her love for the fast-paced world of reality and sports programming led Amanda to take a position with activeTV where she has worked for ten years. Her credits include Location Producer for CBS’ America’s AMAZING RACE, Location Producer on AXN Asia’s AMAZING RACE ASIA, Producer of the NBL ZONE series for the Network Ten and Producer of IGNITE THE DREAM - a documentary on the Sydney 2000 Olympic Torch Relay for the Seven Network.

In recent years Amanda has taken on the role of Sponsorship and Promotions Manager for activeTV with a focus on ensuring sponsor commitments are delivered on all our productions. The Promotions facet of her role has seen her develop Carol Koala – a mascot character for Carols in the Domain. A Carol Koala plush toy will be released at the event in 2007 and a range of Carol Koala merchandise in future years. A Carols in the Domain 25th anniversary compilation CD is also in the works with SonyBMG.
