Michael McKay is President of activetv, which operates in Australia (founded in 1988) and Singapore. is a highly experienced television production executive with over 30 years of network television experience.

He is the Executive Producer and Director of The Amazing Race Asia for AXN, a Sony Pictures Entertainment company. The second in the series will feature 13 episodes based on the original 4 time Emmy Award winning US version created by Bertram van Munster and Elise Doganieri.

Michael was Facilitator / Producer of the Australian episodes of The Amazing Race series 2 and the Emmy Award winning series 4. Michael was Consulting Producer on series 5 and 9, before taking on the Asian version of the production and following up with a producing stint on the All-Stars U.S. version (series 11).

He was a Partner in the Hong Kong based CSA, an advertiser funded specialist that was purchased by the Interpublic Group in 2004 and was based in London for 2 years.

He has created a new series for AXN called Ultimate Escape which will see unsuspecting couples airlifted into an exotic action and adventure holiday location.

He is executive producer of Carols in the Domain and the Country Music Awards Australia and created and co-executive produced Reel Race DocuChallenge for Discovery Networks International.

Michael is also a multi award winning sports production executive. He was the Host Broadcast Consultant for the 2006 Commonwealth Games and oversaw the 2004, 2006 and 2007 World Superbike Championship rounds in Australia.

He has produced countless hours of motor sports, football, golf and boxing.
