Shauna Kane

General Manager

Shauna Kane has 25 years experience in the television industry with a special focus on live studio, outside broadcasts and event productions. She started her career at the Nine Network where she worked for 15 years on productions including, Today Show, Willesee, A Current Affair, Hey, Hey It’s Saturday, Ernie and Denise, In Melbourne Tonight with Frank Holden and The Logie Awards. Shauna has also worked for the Seven Network on the Royal Children’s Hospital Benefit Gala, Twins and What Not to Wear.

Shauna’s extensive knowledge and expertise enables her to enhance ActiveTV’s already established reputation in live event spectaculars, international series production, high level sports production and event management in both entertainment and corporate events.

Over the past three years, Shauna’s credits include Event and Television Producer of Carols in the Domain for the Seven Network, Producer and Project Facilitator for the Australian component of CBS’s “The Amazing Race”, Series Producer on the Reality/Documentary series “Reel Race” for the Discovery Channel, Consulting Producer on The Amazing Race Asia and Producer of the Australian Country Music Awards.

In the area of sport she was Project Manager for Host Broadcast facilities for the 2005 Deaflympic Games and Project Manager for the 2005, 2006 and 2007 World Superbike Championships at Phillip Island. Shauna was also responsible for putting together the production team for the Host Broadcast Services consultancy for Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games.

In August 2004, Shauna was appointed General Manager of ActiveTV.
